The book I choose was The Messenger. I choose this book for multiple
reasons. One huge reason was it seemed like it had action. In the back cover it
mentioned the Ed, the main character, stops a bank robbery at the beginning. This
gave me the idea that there would be a lot of action in parts. Another reason I
chose this book over the others was the title. The title is imply The Messenger
which makes the book sound mysterious and creepy and like there are a lot of
secrets in this book, and I like books with some secrecy involved in them.
I would suggest this book to anyone who likes a book where
you have to think. This book keeps a lot of thinks hidden until the end to keep
the reader interested for the duration of the book. Another reason you should
read this book is that its relatable. It is about a young man who is having a
hard time finding a identity for himself and is not doing a lot that make him
proud of himself, but the book helps him change that and be a better person overall.
